Measuring
No, we offer made-to-measure fashion. This involves adapting an existing pattern to your individual body measurements and style preferences. This way, you get the perfect fit, maximum comfort, and timeless elegance – faster and more efficiently than traditional bespoke tailoring.
This isn't possible at the moment. We recommend making an appointment at one of our studios.
Fit, Alterations and Refunds
If you would like to change your measurements, please contact our customer service at office@sartoriavienna.com .
It's possible that the fabric of shirts and polo shirts will shrink slightly after the first wash, which varies depending on the fabric. In most cases, this doesn't affect the wearability of the garment, but rather helps the fabric and structure of the garment adjust. We recommend washing your garment at least once before assessing the final fit of the item.
If you are not satisfied with your order, you can request a full refund in accordance with our cancellation policy. Please check the eligibility criteria and follow the instructions in the "Terms and Conditions" section by contacting our customer service in advance at office@sartoriavienna.com
Fabrics
Thanks to the thermoregulating properties of the fibers, wool fabrics are also suitable for the warmer seasons.
Every fabric has its own characteristics: Some factors such as the type of fiber, the fineness or the processing can make a fabric particularly valuable and therefore more expensive than others
Fineness: Indicates the average diameter of the fiber used in the yarn. The higher the value, the finer and more valuable the fiber. Fabrics with a high degree of fineness can be particularly delicate and require more attention and care.
The fineness of the wool is usually specified according to a “super” classification system with values between 100 and 250:
100-140: durable wool, ideal for making men's clothing for everyday use
> 150: Wool used for incredibly fine fabrics, valuable and exceptionally soft
> 160: ultra-fine wool, ideal for making light and extremely luxurious fabrics, but requiring special treatment due to its fineness.
Fineness determines the value and use of a wool, but cannot be considered the sole indicator of quality. The finer the wool, the softer and more exclusive it is, but the quality of the fabric also depends on the type of raw materials and the processing method.
Weight: refers to the weight of a single meter of fabric. Wool fabrics suitable for summer weigh less than 240 g/m, while winter fabrics start at 270 g/m.
It's important to note that this measurement system only applies to wool fabrics. Linen, for example, can weigh up to 390 g/m, but the breathability and durability of the fibers make it one of the best summer fabrics.
Warmth: Indicates how much warmth a fabric can provide. There are very heavy fabrics in grams per meter that are nevertheless ideal for summer (e.g., linen), and fabrics that are simultaneously light and very warm (e.g., cashmere). "Warmth" is therefore an additional indicator that is closely related to "weight."
Excellence: indicates the exclusivity of a fabric and simultaneously evaluates various parameters such as fineness, fiber type and reputation of the textile brand.

Care & Maintenance
Sartoria Vienna garments are semi-finished products, custom-made using fine fabrics and yarns. To preserve the quality of the garments, it is generally recommended that cleaning and care be carried out with the utmost care, following the instructions provided, and avoiding aggressive detergents.
100% cotton shirts: Household washing by hand or machine (normal process at a maximum of 30°C and a low spin speed of 400 rpm) is permitted. Do not bleach. Tumble drying (spin) is permitted. Iron at a maximum temperature of 110°C (212°F) without steam.
Make sure you remove the undercollar bars from the shirt before washing.
You should have suits and coats professionally cleaned.
- Whenever possible, brush your garment with a natural bristle brush for 30 seconds, working slowly from top to bottom.
- When you're not wearing the jacket, hang it on a shaped hanger—preferably made of cedar. The wood shapes the shoulder structure, absorbs moisture from the fabric, and keeps moths away.
- Each garment should be worn no more than 2 or 3 times a week. A short "break" allows the fibers to breathe and helps stretch out any small creases that have accumulated throughout the day.
- Use a garment bag to store your tailored garments while traveling for business or pleasure.
